It’s a little known fact that back in the 1800’s, Georgia farms actually grew olives. But it’s becoming a much better known fact that this crop is making a comeback. Thanks to people like State Representative and farmer Jason Shaw, we learn why olives are one of Georgia’s “fastest growing” crops, and why that means more high-tech jobs for Georgians.
