The Eye of the Mariner

New Jersey is a maritime state that once had a multitude of lighthouses operating along the length of its coastline. The Eye of the Mariner offers a tour of the lighthouses that guided ships through New York Harbor and up the Delaware River, keeping sailors and their vessels out of harm's way. The program features lighthouses at Sandy Hook Twin Lights, Sea Girt, Barnegat, Tucker Island, Absecon, Hereford Inlet, Cape May, East Point and Finns Point Range Light, as well as various shoal lights.
