Recently, Discovery Education launched the Dr. Lodge Music Video Challenge, a teacher led activity allowing classrooms to download Discovery Education STREAMING songs produced by Dr. Lodge McCammon and create one-take music videos to demonstrate the content of each song.
Spanning the grade-levels to include Elementary through High School aged students, the Dr. Lodge Music Video Challenge will encourage classrooms to incorporating digital media and provide useful strategies for creating and publishing content in the classroom.
Ten top finalists will receive a Flipcam, DEN polo and 30 student backpacks. The grand prize winner will receive the opportunity to host Dr. Lodge for a live performance assembly that will be broadcast nationwide.
All volunteers receive training, free parking and a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering.
