The application deadline is February 15, 2012

In partnership with Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools and CBS Atlanta, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation is donating salad bars to 15 Georgia schools. Schools must submit applications by February 15, 2012, to be considered for the first round of salad bar donations.

AFYF will announce winning schools in early March. The project is part of AFYF’s ongoing work to reduce childhood obesity and improve youth fitness in Georgia.

To date, the Let’s Move Salad Bars program has awarded salad bars to 1,076 schools across the country, providing more than 530,000 students with the choice to eat more fruits and vegetables.

Schools must apply through the Let’s Move Salad Bar online portal.

Any Georgia K-12 school or school district participating in the National School Lunch Program is eligible to apply.
