Steps For Manually Tuning the DSR-4200

Use these steps to tune the ird's to the frequency for GPB if you do not have a green signal light on the front panel:

• Press the OPTIONS button on the remote control.
• Select #3 (Customize Program Viewing) on the remote control.
• Select #4 (Change Your Password) on the remote control.
• Enter your new password: 996 & TIME (button in the lower left hand portion of the remote control).
• You will now be in the INSTALLATIONS Menu.
• Select #2 (Setup).
• HOMING on line 1 should be off (to turn it off, use the arrows to highlight the bar that says OFF, and hit the SELECT button. A red dot should appear in the box).
• LNB should be selected on line 3, (LNB selection).
• Hit the GO BACK button.
• Select #3, (Manual Tune), from the Installations Menu.
• POLARITY should be set to H/LHC.
• PORT should be set to C/H.
• FREQUENCY SPECIFICATION should be 1235.300. If not, highlight the numbers and punch in the frequency using the remote control.
• DISABLED should have a red dot in the bar. If the dot is not there, use your arrows, highlight the bar, and hit the SELECT button.
• Arrow down to TUNE.
• Hit the SELECT button.
• The word TUNING will appear on the screen.
• Wait for the green signal light to appear on the front of the Digicipher. This should take approximately 2-3 minutes.
• Hit the GO BACK button one time.
• Hit the VIEW button one time.
• You should now be receiving a/v. If there is a green signal light, but no a/v, follow the instructions for reauthorizing the ird.
