If you have a green signal light on your Digicipher, with the channel number in the right hand blue bar on the tv monitor, and in the LCD display on the ird, but no video, follow the steps below:

• Power on the Digicipher.
• Press the OPTIONS button on the General Instruments remote control.
• Press #3 (Customize Program Viewing) on the remote control.
• Press #4 (Change Your Password) on the remote control.
• Enter your new password: 996 & Time, (button on the lower left hand portion of the remote control).
• You will now be in the INSTALLATIONS menu.
• Press #2 (Setup).
• Using the down arrow, press #4 (Authorization), and press the SELECT button.
• You will now be on a screen that says "SEARCHING FOR NEW AUTHORIZATION BIT STREAM......"
• Wait for 3 B5 minutes (the screen should revert to video automatically).
• After 3 B 5 minutes, if you do not see video, hit the GO BACK button.
• Hit the VIEW button.
• You should now have Audio and Video (A/V).
• If you do not get A/V, channel up to another channel, and then channel back down to the original channel.
