Happy Football Friday, y'all! So far this season, the weather has cooperated in the sense that we have avoided rainy kick-off conditions. Unfortunately, we will not be so lucky this week. A cold front has pushed through the state this morning, but the associated rain is still trailing behind it. The cold front has ushered in cooler temperatures, making tonight's football weather conditions a cold, rainy mess. See below for expected rainfall amounts throughout the day, courtesy of the Hydrological Prediction Center.

You can watch both the Brookwood @ Grayson game and the Centennial @ Alpharetta game online right here at GPB.org. In addition, the Brookwood @ Grayson game will be aired live on GPB TV.

Personally, I will be keeping an eye on the Centennial vs Alpharetta game. I am a graduate of CHS (Class of 2002!!), and one of CHS's traditions for graduating seniors is to write their names on the cafeteria wall... Over at AHS, Mr. Sheldon Fisher directs the Alpharetta HS Orchestra and the Fiddle Team of Fulton County. My sister, Jenny, and I participated in the Fiddle Team (Jenny is a fiddler, and I try my best to keep up on the bass). I've included some pictures of the group performing at "The Lady and Sons" in Savannah... No matter who wins, I'm excited to watch and support this match-up between two awesome schools!

Brookwood, Grayson....Centennial, Alpharetta....Ware, Wayne....Cook, Thomasville.... Who are you cheering for this week?!

Have a great Football Friday, and of course - stay warm!!
