(Event Date: Fri 11/04)   Friday  from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, the Augusta Museum opens its doors for the Member’s Night Out: Home for the Holidays. This event is held in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the museum’s Gingerbread Village, and features many gingerbread-related activities and crafts. This event is free for museum members. (Event date: Opens Fri 11/04)   The Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre opens its run of Alan Ball’s “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress.” The dinner theatre presents this irreverent look at the intricacies of friendship–and the power of similar dressing—this Friday and Saturday at 7pm, with additional dates through November 19th. (Event Date: Sat 11/05)   Saturday marks the twentieth anniversary of the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area and the 100th anniversary of the US National Park Service. In celebration, the Find Your Park Festival is being held along the Mill Village Trail from 9 AM to 3 PM. Activities include 5K and 10K race and live music plus archery, fishing, and kayaking demos. (Event date: Sun 11/06)   An opportunity to delve into Native American Culture comes to downtown Augusta this Sunday. The FREE event—Native American Tales and Traditions—takes place at the Morris Museum with educator Hawk Hurst sharing stories and traditional culture. The presentation begins at 2pm. (Event Date: Mon 11/07)   The North Augusta Cultural Arts Council  presents their 13th annual concert honoring veterans this Monday evening. The event, featuring The Savannah River Winds, takes place at  7:30 at Grace United Methodist Church’s Wesley Center, 639 Georgia Avenue in North Augusta.The group will perform a variety of patriotic music.
