(Thu 7/28)   The Morris Museum of Art is presenting a Day Trip to Milledgeville, GA. It’s this Thursday, with busses departing the museum at 7am and returning at 5pm. Participants will visit a number of historic sites, including the historic Old Governor's Mansion; Andalusia Farm, home of literary great Flannery O'Connor; and Lockerly Arboretum. (Sat 7/30)   The Summer Family Fun Film Series continues Saturday morning at The Imperial Theatre. This week, it’s “The Muppet Movie”, starring Kermit the frog, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy and Gonzo. Children who dress in a muppets costume get a free soft drink when they come to see the movie. Admission is free. Showtime is 10am. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. (Mon 8/1)   The King's Brass, a professional ensemble of 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, keyboard and percussion, performs a unique and creative concert at Christ Church Presbyterian in Evans on Southern Pines Dr. just off Furys Ferry Rd. (Mon 8/1)   Coming to Aiken’s Hopelands Gardens this Monday, it’s the sounds of the Savannah River String band. Part of the Hopelands Summer Concert Series, the concert begins at 7pm on the Gardens’ Windham Performing Arts Stage located at 135 Dupree Place.
