What better way to pay tribute to the much missed and beloved Mister Rogers than by remixing his song "Garden of Your Mind" for YouTube? That's precisely the thought behind PBS Digital Studios' clip that has become one of the most popular videos on the site and is the buzz all over social media. (Even the "Today Show" gave it a nod!)

The song was autotuned and is a collaboration with video mash-up artist John D. Boswell of Symphony of Science. Here is more on how they ended up working together.

Here is how PBS describes it on YouTube:

When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together. Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes. Both PBS and the Fred Rogers Company hope you like John's celebration of Fred Rogers' message.

If you like this video, please support your local PBS station.

This is the first in a series of PBS icons remixed.

Many thanks to the folks at the Fred Rogers Company for their support.

I grew up watching Mister Rogers as many of you did. He was an amazing, kind, master teacher. I hope this video keeps his memory and what he tried to teach others alive in the hearts of many more generations to come!
