Jillian Hollingshead tallied 25 points and 10 rebounds and No. 1-ranked Holy Innocents’ defeated No. 3 Wesleyan 75-48 to win the school’s third state championship.

Holy Innocents’ (26-6) also got 18 points and six rebounds from Jada Farrell and nine points from Marya Hudgins.

Wesleyan (28-4) got 17 points and 10 rebounds from A.C. Carter, 11 points from Paige Lyons and 10 points from Izzy Larsen.

It is the third time Holy Innocents’ has beaten Wesleyan this season; the Bears won both meetings during the regular season.

It is the fifth straight year the two north Atlanta area rivals have met in championship game. Holy Innocents’ beat Wesleyan in the final in 2016, with the Wolves win the other three meetings. Holy Innocents’ won its other championship in 1999.
