Dwon Odom scored 17 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter to help No. 1-ranked St. Francis to a 73-69 win over Eagle’s Landing Christian.

Odom was 10-for-14 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, and was 6-for-9 at the line. Odom scored eight straight points immediately after ELCA had taken a 53-51 lead. Odom’s spurt, which concluded with a three-point play with 4:20 remaining, put the Knights ahead to stay. 

St. Francis (28-4) also got 16 points and nine rebounds from Jusaun Holt.

No. 2-ranked ELCA (22-9) was led by K.J. Jones II and Mekhi Cameron with 17 apiece. Felix Uadiale added 16 and nine rebounds and Trevon Reddish scored 12 with nine rebounds. 

It was the third state championship for St. Francis, the first since 2015.
