Class 5A No. 1 Rome outlasted No. 4 Carrollton 65-51 on Friday to extend its winning streak to 31 games. 

Rome amassed 676 total yards and Carrollton had 577.

The Wolves (4-0) got 288 yards rushing and four touchdowns from Jamious Griffin and 247 yards receiving on 11 catches and four touchdowns from Xavier Robert-Donaldson. Quarterback Knox Kadum completed 13 of 24 passes for 286 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 69 yards and one score.

Carrollton (3-1) was led by the four touchdown receptions from Isaiah Lancaster, who had 14 catches for 133 yards.Kodee Brewer rushed 11 times for 148 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Kashif Taylor completed 27 of 44 passes for 337 yards and five touchdowns. Brandon Marenco ran for 55 yards and caught five  passes for 120 yards and one touchdown.
