On to the quarterfinals…

And, once again, who of you had two three seeds making it through to the final 8. Raise your hands…Okay, now take them down. Because unless you know something I don’t, the number of fans outside of Newton and Etowah, who had that matchup is very small. But, my hat’s off to Dave Svehla and Terrance Banks for having the great runs they have had so far this season. Newton’s defense has been outstanding- and they have a penchant for knocking off Region 1 teams. Etowah’s defense has been just as stout in their wins. Well done for y’all.

Well done to Jones County, Mays, HoCo, Stockbridge, Glynn Academy, Elbert County, Westminster, Pace Academy, and all the other underdogs that have made it to this point in the season because the higher seeds and favorites are on their toes…

Single-A got underway in the public and private sprints to a title and an interesting game goes down at an equally interesting time- 5:00 Friday afternoon in Hawkinsville as the Red Devils take on Charlton.

Aquinas got their first home game of the post season as they took on St. Francis, Lincoln County went up against Charlton, WaCo hosted Callaway, and JeffCo and Pace played all night.
