Site Selection Magazine ranked Georgia #1 state to do business.

Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that one of his long term goals has finally been met. Georgia is now ranked as the best state in America to do business.

Site Selection magazine, the leading economic development trade publication, has moved Georgia from its #5 ranking in 2012 to the #1 spot in 2013.

“Making Georgia the premier state in the nation for business has been a strategic goal from day one of my administration,” said Gov. Deal. “We have worked hard to stay ahead of the curve and anticipate business needs not only today, but in the future. Achieving this national recognition means we are on the right track and reminds us of the importance of continuing to strive for excellence in all we do.”
