The next opportunity to attend a Job Readiness Kickoff workshop is Tuesday, October 8th in Warner Robins from 9 am to 2 pm at the Houston County High School located at 920 Highway 96. The workshop will help the veterans with social networking, interviewing, translating their military skill-sets to the civilian workforce, how to successfully navigate the upcoming Veterans Career Expo and other hands-on services.

This is one of the five workshops that the Georgia Department of Labor is hosting to help prepare veterans for the main career expo and hiring event, Paychecks for Patriots. The Paychecks for Patriots Career Expo and Hiring Event will be happening in five different locations throughout the state:

Augusta at Fort Gordon

Columbus at Columbus State University

Metro Atlanta at Chattahoochee Technical College Acworth Campus

Warner Robins at Central Georgia Technical College Warner Robins Campus

Savannah at Savannah Technical College

The Job Readiness Kickoff workshop and the Paycheck for Patriots Career Expo and Hiring event is open to all veterans, spouses and honors all those who have served.
