A free Job Readiness Kickoff is being held Tuesday, Sept. 17th in Lavonia from 11 am - 5pm.

A free Job Readiness Kickoff is being held Tuesday, Sept. 17th in Lavonia from 11 am - 5pm.


The Northeast Georgia Talent Attraction Kickoff is a unique opportunity for job seekers to engage in a hand-on experience. It will take place on Tuesday, September 17th from 11 am to 5pm at the First Baptist Church, located at 95 Bowman Street in Lavonia.

Job seekers will be able to receive free job search assistance, resume writing assistance, social media page development, create personal business cards and participate in mock interviews. In addition, the following workshops will begin at noon: “Marketing Yourself Using Social Media,” Interviewing Skills,” “Job Search After 40,” “Creating a Value-Based Resume,” and How to Succeed at a Job Fair.”
