The free “Career Expo” is scheduled for from 12:30 to 5 p.m., at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Tabernacle Road in Carrollton.
Officials with “Carroll Tomorrow”, a local business group, have praised Commissioner Mark Butler for helping set-up the event. Butler returned the compliments for the west Georgia community.
According to a report at Times-Georgian.com, “Carroll Tomorrow and the Carroll County Chamber have been great partners in this effort to help Carroll County and the west Georgia area to grow,” Butler said. “In the two weeks between the job readiness workshops and the Career Expo, our staff will be working with the employers to identify the skill sets needed in new hires and to help make the connection between employers and job seekers.”
