The Dakalb County Jobs Bus Continues to Offer Assitance to Job Seekers


The Dekalb County libraries host a Mobile Career Center (also called the "Jobs Bus"). The Job Bus includes 13 computer stations and high-speed satellite Internet connection.

The Center will provide residents with essential services, including job search assistance, resume writing, and interviewing tips.

The bus schedule includes library locations and changes monthly.

Residents of East Atlanta Patch communities who are in DeKalb County and are looking for work can visit the DeKalb County's Mobile Career Center, or “jobs bus,” this month at the following areas:

Thursday, May 9 Villages of East Lake at 460 East Lake Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday, May 15 The Department of Family and Children Services at 178 Sams St. in Decatur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday, May 23 The Covington Library at 3500 Covington Highway from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m
