Kubota has opened a new manufacturing facility in Jefferson, GA

The Kubota Corporation announced the opening of a $73 million manufacturing facility in Jefferson, GA.

The plant manufactures the company’s 30-50 HP compact tractors.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal was on hand for the plant opening. “Georgia is proud to join with Kubota today in celebrating one of our state’s greatest business success stories,” said Deal. “Kubota’s record of consistent growth has contributed to the quality of life for countless Georgia families as well as the overall health of our economy. This expansion will further help to make Georgia the No. 1 place in the country in which to do business.”

Kubota has had operations in Georgia for 40 years. The company currently employs more than 1,700 people statewide with 43 commercial dealerships.
