Congressman David Scott has announced his 10th annual Jobs Fair will be held April 19th at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, GA.
The event takes place from 10am to 3pm and is expected to draw almost 100 employers offering over 1600 jobs. The number of employers and job opportunities makes this event one of the largest Job Fairs in Georgia.
According to Clayton News Daily, employers expected to attend include: AT& T, U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Clayton County Water Authority, Comcast, CSX Transportation, DeVry University, Fulton County government, Gate Gourmet, Georgia Power, Global Media Empire, Grady Health System, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Kroger, Lowe’s, MARTA, Porsche, Radio One Atlanta, Home Depot, UPS, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Peace Corps, Waffle House, Bank of America, GEL Financial Services, LLC, Primerica Financial Services, Regions Financial Corporation, Wells Fargo, Atlanta Police Department, Columbus Police Department, Douglas County Fire and EMS Department, Douglasville Police, U.S. Air Marshals, FBI, Fulton County Schools, Gwinnett County Police Department, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Transportation Security Administration.
The Georgia International Convention Center is located near the Atlanta Airport at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park.
