Site Selection Magazine has ranked Georgia the No. 1 place to do business four years running. Now CNBC has chimed in and Georgia ranks as the No. 2 state for business, helped in large part due to having what CNBC ranks as the best economy in the country for business.

The CNBC study looked at several factors, but the three that leapt to the top of the page were Georgia’s economy, it’s workforce (No. 3 nationally) and it’s infrastructure (No. 4 nationally). In fact, Workforce and Infrastructure were the two most heavily weighted of the 66 metrics chosen.

Georgia finished two spots ahead of Deep South neighbor North Carolina, while Washington State took home the top spot.

Here’s a look at the top 10 states as well as where they landed in each of the major categories. We have work to do in some areas, but we should celebrate being so high on this list.
