In our latest episode of On the Campaign Trail with Bill Nigut, we talk parties. Not the ones with streamers, food, and music but the political ones that play significant roles in our government.

Episode 6 of On the Campaign Trail, “Party Over Here, Party Over There” provides a breakdown of political parties, the different types of party systems, and the overall ideological differences between Democrats and Republicans.

This episode is aligned to SSCG8 of the Georgia American Government and Civics standards. The additional resources compel students to think critically, create their own political party, and determine whether they are more liberal or conservative.
