The ice storm did not keep two laborers from looking for day jobs. <strong>GPB’s Tanya Ott</strong> stumbled upon <strong> Lamelle Levin and Renelle Rivers</strong> outdoors. They were standing in front of “Catch Out Corner” on Ponce de Leon in Atlanta. Stationed in front of a Starbucks and near a Home Depot, the spot is a popular area for day laborers to pick up work.
Levin and Rivers told Ott they were looking for work clearing out weather damaged pipes or helping sliding motorists for a price.
