Teya Ryan was named President and Executive Director of GPB on March 18, 2009.
Teya Ryan served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of CNN / US as well as Headline News and CNN fn. Other career accomplishments include a stint at public broadcasting station KCET, Los Angeles and consulting for PBS on the design of a new digital cable network. Ryan also led her own multi- platform media company, producing cable programming, theatrical films and children’s programming.
Ms. Ryan has won multiple awards, including seven Emmys and four Cable Ace Awards, and was named one of the ten most powerful women in media by Crain Media in 2002.
