Bethanie serves as an education technology specialist at GPB. Through the GPB Education Mobile VR Lab Initiative, she brings virtual reality (VR) instruction to classrooms across Georgia, allowing students to engage with events, places, ideas, and people in an immersive format that brings the content to life. In her most recent role teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in Forsyth County, Georgia, Bethanie co-taught middle grades English/Language Arts and supported differentiated instruction in all subject content areas. She also taught 8th grade Spanish for four years. Bethanie is a graduate of Smith College with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies. She received her Master’s in Education in e-Learning from Trident University International.
