    New Curriculum

    • Jane Robelot hosts members of the Georgia Department of Education. Guests include Kathy Cox, State Superintendent of Schools, Stephen Pruitt, Science Program Manager and Claire Pierce, Mathematics Specialist.
    • They discuss the new math and science curriculums that are turning Georgia classrooms into a 'conceptual learning' environment. We get to visit the 2006 Georgia Science Olympiad.

    • We visit the Math Trail at The Morris Museum of Art in Augusta. This innovative activity was designed by Shelly Allen, Math Coordinator for the Richmond County School.
    • We see an example of "Math + Science = Success" as part of the Georgia Prism Project.
    • GPB helps educators and students with science instruction in Chemistry and Physics.
