Ab's Place is an overnight jazz show with emphasis on the emerging artists whose musical expression is based in the straight ahead genre--defined by the music created by such mid-period greats as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Dexter Gordon. Ab's Place features artist profiles and artist features as the show takes shape. Ab's Place on GPB Radio is hosted by Abdul Taymullah, a veteran jazz host who has hosted overnights on legendary Atlanta jazz station WCLK for nearly 20 years. Ab's Place is part of the growing GPB Jazz Community.
