83-year old Allene George grew up as an “army brat” moving from place-to-place until settling on Tybee Island where she first got involved in Girl Scouting. She’s been involved with the scouts ever since…as a troop leader, council President and more, and her two daughters and two sons have all been involved in scouting as well. She was interviewed by two current girl scouts, 13 year old Ashley Sutton and 14-year old Victoria Ross about how she got started in scouting.
